Blink-182 to Tour in Summer 2016

Find Blink 182 concert information, tour dates, and more!

The first major Blink-182 tour of the post-Tom DeLonge era is finally here!  The seminal pop punk rockers parted ways with their longtime singer/guitarist following a very public spat, with Travis Barker and Mark Hoppus famously airing grievances in a brutal Rolling Stone interview.  Longtime Alkaline Trio frontman Matt Skiba has officially replaced DeLonge, and while longtime Blink fans are gonna have a tough time adjusting to Skiba’s more subdued vocal stylings, their new single “Bored to Death” should allay any concerns that this iteration can’t rock just as hard as the classic one.  It’s the lead single from their new album California, which they’re now touring in support of (alongside A Day to Remember, All American Rejects, and All Time Low no less)!  Take a listen:

Looking for Drake Tour 2016 info?  Then you’ve come to the right place!

It’s been a busy week for hip hop superstar Drake, who announced a set list for his new album, quickly shortened its name from Views from the 6 to simply Views (inviting even more Kanye comparisons than usual), and announced a new supporting tour alongside his friend and What a Time to Be Alive collaborator Future.  It’s a lot of information to unpack, so we thought we’d round it all up for you in one place.

Coldplay Add 12 Dates to North American Tour

As if Coldplay’s massive, possibly farewell “A Head Full of Dreams” Tour wasn’t already huge, they’ve gone and added a dozen US dates to their schedule!  Arenas in Las Vegas, Phoenix, St. Louis, Denver, Louisville, Columbus, Buffalo, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Tulsa, Indianapolis, and Salt Lake City will now be getting a visit from the iconic English rockers, and it should be noted that most existing shows are nearing sell-out status.

Where are the best Coldplay tickets?  At BigStub.com, of course!

The addition of arena dates gives flexibility to the stadium-heavy tour, as Coldplay will be performing Stadiums on Saturdays (and Sundays in markets with two shows) and arenas on weekdays.  “We’ve always played a lot of markets in America, so we try to hit as many markets as we can,” band manager Dave Holmes said in an interview with Billboard. “This ‘stadium on the weekends and arenas during the week’ model enables us to try to play to as much of our fan base as possible.”

I’m really looking forward to singing songs the fans have not heard in a while, as well as the hits, while debuting a few new ones off Pure & Simple,” the living legend said in a press release announcing the tour.

True to its name, Pure & Simple with Dolly’s Biggest Hits will feature a combination of the icon’s biggest hits as well as brand-new material.  Its release (and the resulting tour) come on the heels of a career resurgence for the eight-time Grammy Award winner, whose recent Coat of Many Colors – which was based on her childhood experiences growing up as a poor farmgirl in rural Tennessee – became the most-watched TV movie of the last six years.

New Beyonce Album Details Emerge?

The Bey Hive is buzzing with new details!

We’ll admit it up front – Beyonce has a history of dropping surprise albums, which makes it hard to guess what she’s up to behind the curtains.  But thanks to the dedicated Queen B watchers over at Billboard, we’ve got a few clues about her upcoming new album, which we’ll run down now!

  • According to Buzzfeed, the new album might be called B6
  • Idolator thinks there might be a film to go along with the album, and that Indian actor Kahlil Joseph may be involved somehow
  • Beyonce’s been spotted filming around LA
  • Billboard previously reported that Beyonce and husband Jay Z were working on a collaborative project, and this could be it
  • Some of the hottest up-and-coming stars will be featured on the record, because duh

That’s about all we know so far, which is to say: not much.  But isn’t it fun to speculate?  In the meantime, BigStub can hook you up with the best tickets for her upcoming Formation World Tour, so check out the website to learn more!

Puff Daddy Announces Bad Boy Family Reunion Concert

All-Star Reunion Planned for Friday, May 20

It’s all about the Benjamins, baby, and Puffy’s about to make another stack of them!  The legendary rap mogul has announced a one-night-only concert that will reunite some of the biggest stars from his Bad Boy Entertainment record label, including Faith Evans, Lil’ Kim, Ma$e, French Montana, Total, 112, and Mario Winans, with special appearances by Jay Z and Mary J. Blidge.  The concert is scheduled at the Barclays Center on May 20, 2016 – the day before what would have been the Notorious B.I.G.’s 44th birthday.

Where are the best Bad Boy Family concerts?  At BigStub, of course!

“This isn’t just another concert—this is hip-hop history,” said Sean “Diddy” Combs said in a press release about the show. “The Bad Boy Family includes some of the biggest names in music and songs that helped define a whole generation of music. Also, we are celebrating one of the greatest of all time—Notorious B.I.G. This will be a night to remember. I can’t wait to see you all there.”

Last June, Puffy, Lil’ Kim, and Ma$e headlined a show at the 2015 BET Awards that brought the house down, and precipitated the decision to move forward with a bigger reunion concert.  Additionally, Faith Evans – Biggie’s former wife – announced plans for a Notorious B.I.G. hologram, although it’s unclear if it will make an appearance at the Bad Boy Family Reunion show.  “I don’t necessarily know to what extent I’m going to perform with it, but I definitely want to debut it probably in the first video for the album and maybe use it a little bit performance-wise, but that depends on a lot of thing,” she said at the time.

Zayn Malik Teases Tour

Former One Direction Member Readies Debut Solo Tour

We’ll keep this one brief because few details have been officially announced yet, but it seems that we’re close (weeks?  days?  mere moments?) from an official announcement concerning Zayn Malik’s new tour.  The former One Direction superstar has been hard at work on his debut album Mind of Mine, to the point that he’s been camping out in a tent to maintain his focus and avoid the public eye, per Cosmopolitan (so, you know, take that with a grain of salt).  Obviously little information is available at the moment, but we’ll update as soon as possible.  Malik’s debut solo single “Pillowtalk” has already topped charts around the world, so we expect some serious interest as soon as tour dates in support of the Zayn Malik new album are announced.
